A significant milestone has been achieved in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector as NNPC E&P Ltd and NOSL successfully initiate oil production at Oil Mining Lease (OML) 13 in Akwa Ibom State. This accomplishment marks a new chapter in the partnership between the two entities, showcasing their commitment to driving growth and development in the nation’s energy sector.

Production began on May 6 with an initial 6,000 barrels of oil per day, with plans to increase output to 40,000 barrels per day by May 27, 2024.
