Renowned Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law, has acknowledged that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s policies have caused temporary difficulties for Nigerians. However, he firmly believes that none of the other top presidential candidates in the 2023 election could have performed better than Tinubu.

In a recent interview on Mic On Podcast with Seun Akinbaloye, Seyi Law expressed his support for Tinubu’s manifesto, stating that the president has remained committed to his vision and processes. He acknowledged that the current economic challenges are short-term pains that will eventually subside.

Seyi Law emphasized that he does not benefit from government patronage, except for a recent appointment, and therefore feels compelled to speak truthfully. He admitted that Nigerians are struggling with hunger due to the policies but remains optimistic that relief will come in the medium and long term.

The comedian’s comments have sparked a debate about the effectiveness of Tinubu’s policies and the government’s handling of the economy. While some agree with Seyi Law’s assessment, others argue that the administration needs to do more to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians.
