The All Progressives Congress (APC) has lauded the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, for his exemplary leadership and innovative security initiatives. Prof. Kailani Muhammed, Director-General of the APC, commended Wike’s achievements at a press conference in Abuja.

Under Wike’s leadership, the FCT has transformed into a safe and secure haven, where residents can live without fear. The minister’s collaborative efforts with the FCT Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igwe, have yielded significant results in combating crime and insurgency.

Wike’s administration has also made notable strides in infrastructure development, completing nearly 90% of the 135 road rehabilitation projects. Additionally, he has exempted the FCT from the Treasury Single Account (TSA), enabling efficient utilization of Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and stimulating growth.

The minister has also implemented various social empowerment programs, including the disbursement of N10 million in grants to 20 women farmers under the First Lady’s Renewed Hope Initiative’s (RHI) Women Agricultural Empowerment program. Furthermore, he has inducted desk officers to enhance service delivery in FCT public schools.

The APC praised Wike’s visionary leadership and urged other state governments to emulate his exemplary approach to governance.
