The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Kenyan officials to oversee the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier between Nigeria’s Flamingos and South Africa.
Josephine Wanjiku will serve as the center referee for the second-round first-leg fixture, scheduled for March 8 at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria, South Africa.
Wanjiku will be assisted by fellow Kenyans Mary Njoroge and Elizabeth Njoroge, who will serve as assistant referees. Juma Lucy Awino will act as the fourth official.
The return leg is set for March 15 at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Nigeria. The winner will advance to the final qualifying round.
This year’s FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup will take place in Morocco from October 17 to November 8.
