The Super Eagles will commence training today, Tuesday, October 8, 2024, in preparation for their upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Libya.
The team’s first training session will take place at 5 pm at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium’s practice pitch in Uyo, and will be open to the public and media.
As of Monday, only two players, Stanley Nwabali and Amas Obasogie, had arrived at the team’s Four Points by Sheraton Hotel base in Ikot Ekpene. More players are expected to join the camp today.
The Super Eagles are set to face Libya’s Mediterranean Knights on Friday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
Coach’s Strategy
The training session will provide an opportunity for the technical crew to fine-tune strategies and assess player readiness ahead of the crucial encounter.
With key players expected to arrive today, the team’s preparation will gain momentum, building towards a successful outing against Libya.
