Ibrahim Owodunni, aka Primeboy, a childhood friend of late singer Mohbad, has threatened to sue Mohbad’s mother, Abosede Adeyemo-Aloba, for defamation.
Primeboy’s lawyer, Akinpelu Ogunbona, alleged that Mohbad’s mother accused Primeboy of frequently fighting with Mohbad and abandoning him after his rise to fame.
In a statement, Ogunbona claimed Mohbad’s mother implied Primeboy had a motive to harm Mohbad and should flee to avoid suspicion.
Primeboy demands a retraction within seven days, warning of legal action if Mohbad’s mother fails to comply.
The controversy surrounds Mohbad’s mysterious death on September 12, 2023, and subsequent autopsy.
Primeboy seeks to clear his name and protect his reputation amidst the allegations.
